Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. Title: The title of the abstract should be less than 30 words.
  2. Word Limit:
    1. The word limit for abstract submission is 200 words.
    2. Kindly ensure your abstract adheres to this limit to facilitate review and publication.
  3. Language: Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  4. Authors and Affiliations:
    1. All authors must be listed along with their affiliations.
    2. The presenting author must be indicated in the submission form.
    3. Please mention if any authors are members of ASPCR / JSPCR / ESPCR / PASPCR.
  5. Topics: Authors must select one primary topic area from the following list when submitting their abstract: Melanoma (basic research; clinical research, therapy, and prevention), Melanocyte biology, Melanin biology and biochemistry, Vitiligo (basic science; clinical and therapeutic aspects), Albinism, Inherited pigmentary disorders, Photobiology and devices, Melasma, Acquired dermal macular hyperpigmentation, Other dermal melanosis, Hair pigmentation, Regenerative medicine and skin, Quality of life in melanoma and pigmentary disorders, or Others.
  6. Originality: Abstracts must be original and not previously published or presented.
    1. If a related topic was used before, submission is allowed if the new abstract presents a different aspect, new data, or a varied viewpoint.
  7. Important Dates:
    1. Abstract submission opens: September 29, 2025
    2. Abstract submission deadline: 11:59 pm IST October 31st, 2025
    3. Result notification: November 22, 2025
  8. Registration Requirement: Acceptance of an abstract does not constitute registration for the conference. The presenting author of an accepted abstract must complete registration by December 15, 2025; otherwise, the abstract will be withdrawn.
  9. Publication:
    1. Abstracts will appear in an issue of the official journal Pigment Cell and Melanoma Research (PCMR), complete with DOI.
    2. Publication will follow the conference.
    3. If you do not want your abstract published in PCMR, contact office@ipcc2026.com before December 07, 2025.
  10. Presentation Preference:
    1. Authors must indicate their preferred mode of presentation (Oral / Poster / No preference) at the time of submission.
    2. The final decision regarding presentation type rests with the Scientific Committee.
    3. Notification of presentation format will be provided with acceptance results, allowing applicants to apply for travel scholarships from relevant societies.

        (Please note: The Scientific Committee will make the final decision on presentation type. Requesting an oral presentation does not guarantee allocation)
